... to anywhere in the world with internet access...

Requirements for Viewers/Audience:

To view a One-Click Webcast™, you need a high-speed broadband internet connection of at least 150 kbps download speed, a MS Windows, Macintosh or Linux computer with at least 256 MB of memory, 500 MHz CPU, one of the following web browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. Webcasts can also be viewed on web enabled cell phones & PDA's running Windows Mobile Edition.

Requirements for Webcasting:

You can make a One-Click Webcast™ using a locally available internet connection, or using our wireless cell internet connection.

There are advantages to each.

Using Cellular based wireless networking:

Advantages:

  • Easier to set up and use.
  • Not dependent on availability of local Internet connection. Can be used on a beach or in a park, wherever there is appropriate cell coverage.

Considerations:

  • Cutting edge technology, occasionally unreliable.
  • Must have appropriate cellular coverage at the site.

Using Locally Available Internet Connection

(Which can be either wired or wireless WiFi)

Advantages

  • Potentially better webcast quality
  • Higher Reliability
  • Can be used in areas that don't have sufficient Cellphone coverage.

Considerations:

  • May require somewhat more skill/time to set up.
  • Dependent upon available internet connection; either physically by network cable, or by range of basestation if WiFi.
